Hello everyone! My name is Danny J Quick and I am the writer of a new comic book and novel about our new hero Aceblade. Well, he's not really new anymore. Aceblade was created by Christopher Hollars and copyrighted way back in 2005. I met Chris while working at a printing company, and he graciously gave me the opportunity to write a story about his creation. I was deployed with the USArmy a few moths later to Iraq. While I was in Iraq, I used writing, and reading comics as an outlet to keep me focused. While I was there, I wrote many short films and short stories for my own amusement. I continued to develop Aceblade's story and stayed in contact with Chris during that time. By the time I got home, the story had flourished in my mind beyond anything that we initially discussed. After Chris invited me to my first comic book convention in 2011, I decided to get serious about my craft. I dabbled in art and even a little coloring, fully intending on creating every piece of this comic by myself if needed. I began to network with artists and many other comic book creators and quickly realized that my talent was not in art, but telling a story. I quickly decided to begin my search for affordable and amazing artists for what would be our first comic book, all the while continuing Aceblade's story in my spare time. I began separating Aceblade's stories into chapters and keeping track of the timeline using a code that I developed, inspired by Star Trek. 22 chapters later, and with the help of our fans, family and friends, The novel and the 1st comic are almost ready.I decided to start a blog because there are certain rules and restrictions on our Facebook page that severely limits our interactions with our fans. If you already frequent the Facebook page, You will see "old" content appear on here soon, but there will be exclusive content on this site such as our 'fan made' Aceblade Vs Deadpool comic short that we will release to the public soon. Thanks for stopping by.
